Vacuum Break

FRONT (GAUGE METHOD)

1. Attach a rubber band to green tang of intermediate choke shaft to hold choke valve closed.
2. Install angle gauge and rotate scale to degree indicated on Specifications Chart.
3. Retract vacuum break plunger using an external vacuum source, then plug air bleed holes, if applicable.
4. Make final adjustment with vacuum still applied by turning screw in or out until bubble is centered, Fig. 7.

REAR (GAUGE METHOD)

1. Attach rubber band to green tang of intermediate choke shaft to hold choke valve closed.
2. Install angle gauge, then rotate scale to degree indicated on Specifications Chart.
3. Retract vacuum break plunger using an external vacuum source, then plug air bleed holes, if applicable.
4. Make final adjustment with vacuum still applied by turning adjusting screw with a suitable Allen wrench or by bending vacuum break rod until bubble is centered, Fig. 8.
