ADVANCE PIN HOLE PLUG SEAL, REPLACE
1. Loosen advance pin hole plug seal by tapping with hammer.
2. Remove plug and seal, Fig. 36.
3. Reverse procedure to install. Torque plug to 75---100 inch lbs.

AUTO ADVANCE SEALS, REPLACE
1. Remove advance pin hole plug.
2. Remove spring side advance piston hold plug, plug, piston, spring and slide washer.
3. Remove power side advance piston hole plug, plug, piston, and slide washer, Fig. 36.
4. Disassemble both plugs and pistons.
5. Reverse procedure to install. Torque plugs to 20 ft. lbs.

HYDRAULIC HEAD SEAL O-RING, REPLACE
Removal
1. Remove throttle shaft and seals.
2. Remove metering valve, Fig. 33.
3. Remove housing vent screw assembly, Fig. 37.
4. Remove advance pin hole plug and advance pin, Fig. 36.
5. Remove head locating screws and seal.
6. Remove hydraulic head assembly and O-ring.

Installation
1. Install hydraulic head seal and place head assembly into pump housing.
2. Install two head locking screws finger tight and turn pump upside down.
3. Install head-locating screw and torque to 15---18 ft. lbs., Fig. 36.
4. Torque head-locking screws to 15---18 ft. lbs.
5. Install advance pin and advance pin plug.
6. Turn pump so cover opening is up, and install metering valve.
7. Install throttle shaft, seals and pump cover.
