During servicing of primary fuel filter or checking level of automatic transmission fluid, the clearance between the outlet fuel line and transmission filler tube should be checked.. To prevent a chafing condition, a clearance of approximately 1" should be present. Filler tube and/or fuel line should be repositioned to achieve this clearance as necessary.
