Air Door Cable: Adjustments

CABALLERO & EL CAMINO

LESS A/C

1. Move temperature lever to full ``Cold'' position, then rotate temperature door crank to full ``Cold'' position.
2. Adjust turnbuckle until cable loop aligns with pin on crank.
3. Move lever to full ``Hot.'' Door should be seated. If not, repeat adjustment procedure.




CABALLERO & EL CAMINO

WITH A/C
1. Disengage temperature cable retaining clip from bellcrank post.
2. Snap temperature door operating rod into retaining clip so that 2/5 inch of rod is exposed beyond outer edge of retainer.
3. Re-engage temperature cable retaining clip to bellcrank post.
4. Move temperature lever through full length of travel. Temperature door should be heard seating at the open and closed positions.
