Fig. 1 Shock absorber attachment:

1. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Remove nut, washer and bolt, Fig. 1.
3. Collapse shock absorber, then remove nut, washer and attaching bolt.
4. Remove shock absorber.
5. Reverse procedure to install. Torque attaching nuts to 48 ft. lbs.
