Slipping or Rough 1-2 Shift


1. Throttle lever and bracket assembly, damaged or incorrectly installed.
2. Throttle valve or bushing, sticking.
3. Sticking 1-2 shift valve train.
4. Valve body gasket or spacer plate, improperly positioned.
5. Sticking line bias valve.
6. Sticking accumulator valve.
7. Sticking throttle valve (TV) limit valve.
8. Incorrect 2-4 servo apply pin.
9. 2-4 servo oil seal rings or seals, damaged.
10. 2-4 servo bores, damaged.
11. 2-4 servo oil passages, restricted or missing.
12. 2nd accumulator piston seal, damaged.
13. Accumulator spring, missing.
14. 2nd accumulator bores, damaged.
15. 2nd accumulator piston, porous.
16. 2nd accumulator oil passages, restricted or missing.
17. Burned 2-4 band.
