Burnishing Pads and Rotors

Break in, or burnish, the new braking surface under the following conditions:
^ After you replace the linings
^ After you refinish the rotors
Make about 20 stops from 48 km/h (30 mph), using medium to firm brake pedal pressure. Do not overheat the brakes.
