REMOVAL PROCEDURE



1. Remove the center pillar lower trim.
2. Open the shoulder guide trim cover (1).
3. Remove the shoulder guide anchor bolt (2) which secures the front seat belt (4) to the center pillar.




4. Remove the front seat belt lower anchor bolt (3)




5. Remove the following components from the vehicle:
5.1. The mounting bolt (2)
5.2. The screw (1)
5.3. The front seat belt (3)




6. Remove the front seat assembly.
7. Remove the following components from the front seat inner adjuster (2):
7.1. The 2 screws (3)
7.2. The front seat inner adjuster finish cover (1)

8. Remove the retainers which secure the seat belt switch wiring harness to the seat cushion frame.




9. Remove the following components from the front seat inner adjuster (3):
9.1. The anchor bolt (4)
9.2. The front seat belt buckle (5)

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.




1. Install the front seat belt buckle (5) to the front seat inner adjuster (3). Secure the buckle with the anchor bolt (4).

Tighten
Tighten the front seat belt buckle anchor bolt to 35 N.m (25 lb ft).




2. Install the seat belt switch wiring harness to the retainers which secure it to the seat cushion frame.
3. Install the front seat inner adjuster finish cover (1) to the front seat inner adjuster (2). Secure the finish cover with the 2 screws (3).
4. Install the front seat assembly.




5. Install the front seat belt (3) to the vehicle. Secure the seat belt with the following fasteners:
^ The screw (1)
^ The mounting bolt (2)

Tighten
Tighten the front seat belt mounting bolt to 35 N.m (25 lb ft).




6. Install the front seat belt lower anchor bolt (3)

Tighten
Tighten the front seat belt lower anchor bolt to 35 N.m (25 lb ft).




7. Install the shoulder guide anchor bolt (2) which secures the front seat belt (4) to the center pillar.

Tighten
Tighten the front seat belt shoulder guide anchor bolt to 35 N.m (25 lb ft).

8. Close the shoulder guide trim cover (1).
9. Install the center pillar lower trim.
