Rear Side Door Check Link Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the rear side door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement (Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the rear side door check pin (2) which secures the rear side door check (3) to door jamb.
3. Remove the following components from the door:

* The 2 bolts (1)
* The door check (3)




Installation Procedure






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Install the rear side door check (3) to the door through the inner door panel access hole. Secure the check with the 2 bolts (1).

Tighten the rear side door check bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

2. Install the door check (3) to the door jamb. Secure the check with the pin (2).
3. Install the rear side door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement Service and Repair
