Center High Mounted Stop Lamp Applique Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the center high mounted stop lamp applique.
2. Remove the center high mounted stop lamp lens. Refer toHigh Mounted Stop Lamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.




3. Remove the nuts that retain the center high mounted stop lamp applique to the body.
4. Remove the screws that retain the center high mounted stop lamp applique to the body.
5. Remove the center high mounted stop lamp applique from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the center high mounted stop lamp applique to the vehicle.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the center high mounted stop lamp applique retaining screws to the body.

Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

3. Install the center high mounted stop lamp applique retaining nuts to the body.

Tighten the nuts to 6 N.m (53 lb ft).

4. Install the center high mounted stop lamp lens. Refer to High Mounted Stop Lamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.




5. Install the center high mounted stop lamp applique.
