Power Steering Reservoir Outlet Pipe/Hose Replacement

Removal Procedure

Notice: Refer to Power Steering Hose Disconnected Notice in Service Precautions.

1. Siphon the power steering fluid from the reservoir.





2. Disconnect the hose (3) from the pump (2).
3. Disconnect the hose (3) from the reservoir.
4. Remove the hose from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the hose (3) to the power steering pump.
2. Install the hose to the power steering reservoir (1).
Make sure the clamps are positioned at the end of the hose
3. Fill the power steering reservoir with fluid.
4. Bleed the power steering system.
