Power Steering Pump Rear Bracket Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the power steering pump (1) from the vehicle.
2. Remove the retaining nuts (3) from the vehicle.
3. Remove the brace (2) from the back side of the pump.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the brace (2) to the back side of the pump (1).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the steering pump brace retaining nuts (3) to the vehicle.
Tighten the steering pump brace retaining nut to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the steering pump to the vehicle.
