Transmission Fluid Auxiliary Cooler Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the grille assembly. Refer to Grille Replacement (Base) Grille Replacement (Uplevel) .
2. Place a drain pan under the vehicle.
3. Disconnect the transmission oil cooler lines from the auxiliary oil cooler.
4. Remove the oil cooler lines from the auxiliary oil cooler. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Replacement (Service and Repair) .




5. Remove the 4 bolts securing the auxiliary oil cooler to the radiator support.
6. Remove the auxiliary oil cooler.



Installation Procedure






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice .

1. Install the 4 bolts securing the oil cooler to the radiator support.

Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

2. Install the oil cooler lines to the auxiliary oil cooler. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Replacement (Service and Repair) .

Tighten the cooler lines to 23 N.m (17 lb ft).

3. Remove the drain pan.
4. Install the grille assembly. Refer to Grille Replacement (Base) Grille Replacement (Uplevel) .
