Transmission Fluid Filler Tube and Seal Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Unlock the transmission oil level indicator.
2. Remove the transmission oil level indicator.
3. Remove the transmission. Refer to Transmission Replacement Transmission Replacement.




4. Remove the oil level indicator tube (1).
5. Remove the seal (2) from the transmission.

Installation Procedure




1. Install a NEW seal (2) to the indicator tube.
2. Install the oil level indicator tube (1).
3. Install the transmission. Refer to Transmission Replacement Transmission Replacement.
4. Lower the vehicle.
5. Check the transmission fluid level. Refer to Transmission Fluid Level and Condition Check Transmission Fluid Level and Condition Check.




6. Install the transmission oil level indicator.
7. Lock the transmission oil level indicator.
