Circuit/System Description
The electronic brake control module (EBCM) supplies an ignition voltage to the yaw/lateral accelerometer sensor and monitors the signal circuits back to the EBCM.
Conditions for Running the DTC
Ignition ON
Conditions for Setting the DTC
* An internal failure in the yaw/lateral sensor.
* The yaw/lateral accelerometer sensor bias level are out of range.
Action Taken When the DTC Sets
* The EBCM disables the VSES for the duration of the ignition cycle.
* A driver information center message and/or a warning indicator may be displayed.
Conditions for Clearing the DTC
* The condition for the DTC is no longer present.
* The EBCM clears the history DTC when a current DTC is not detected in 100 consecutive drive cycles.

Circuit/System Testing
Ignition ON, verify that DTC C0292 is not set.
If DTC is set, replace the yaw/lateral accelerometer sensor. If the DTC resets, replace the EBCM.
