Engine Support Fixture (South America)

Special Tools

* X-0206951 - Adapter Base Device Support Set

Installation Procedure

1. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement Intake Manifold Cover Replacement.

2. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement Service and Repair.

3. Remove the power steering fluid reservoir. Refer to Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Replacement - Lower (3.0L) Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Replacement - Lower (3.0L).




4. Install the EN-42451-1 - engine support bracket (1) to the engine.




5. Install the EN-42451-1 - engine support bracket (1) to the engine.




6. Install the X-0206951 - adapter base device support set (1) in the vehicle.




7. Connect a suitable chain to the adapter (3), then pass it through the support (2), then connect to adapter (1) as shown.

8. Tighten the wing nut until the engine weight is supported by the hanging device.
