Rear Bumper Bracket Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Raise and support the vehicle with suitable safety stands. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
2. Remove the rear bumper from the vehicle. Refer to Rear Bumper Replacement Rear Bumper Replacement.
3. Mark the location of the bumper bracket to the bumper.
4. Remove the bolts that retain the bumper bracket to the bumper.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the bumper bracket to the bumper.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution .

2. Install the bumper bracket retaining bolts to the bumper and tighten the bolts to 160 Nm (118 lb ft).
3. Install the rear bumper to the vehicle. Refer to Rear Bumper Replacement Rear Bumper Replacement.
