Front Seat Belt Guide Adjuster Replacement (Crew Cab)

Removal Procedure




1. Open the front seat belt upper guide shoulder bolt trim cover.
2. Remove the front seat belt upper guide shoulder bolt.
3. Remove the knob (2) from the front seat belt shoulder adjuster (3).
4. Remove the upper center pillar trim panel (1). Refer to Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement.
5. Remove the 2 bolts securing the adjuster to the vehicle.
6. Remove the front seat belt shoulder adjuster from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

1. Install the 2 bolts securing the front seat belt shoulder adjuster (3) to the vehicle.

Tighten the front seat belt shoulder adjuster bolts to 52.5 Nm (39 lb ft).

2. Install the upper center pillar trim panel (1). Refer to Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement.
3. Install the knob (2) on the front seat belt shoulder adjuster (3).
4. Install the front seat belt upper guide with the bolt. Ensure that the seat belt webbing is not twisted.

Tighten the front seat belt upper guide bolt to 52.5 Nm (39 lb ft).

5. Install the front seat belt upper guide shoulder bolt trim cover.
