Radio Rear Side Door Speaker Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Door Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side (E24) Rear Door Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side (E24) or Rear Door Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (E24) Rear Door Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (E24).





Warning

Eye protection must be worn when drilling rivets to reduce the chance of personal injury.

2. Remove the rivets retaining the rear door speaker/housing to the door using appropriate drill and drill bit.

3. Remove the speaker/housing from the door.

4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the speaker.

Installation Procedure





1. Connect the electrical connector to the speaker.

2. Install the speaker/housing to the door.

3. Install the rivets in order to retain the rear door speaker/housing to the door.

4. Install the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Door Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side (E24) Rear Door Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side (E24) or Rear Door Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (E24) Rear Door Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (E24).
