Alarm Circuit Diode: Testing and Inspection

Theft System Diode:

Using the ohmmeter, check the continuity by contacting the probes to the diode connector for two directions.

If the continuity exists only in one direction, the diode is normal. If the continuity exists in both directions, or there is no continuity, the diode is faulty.
