Trunk/Liftgate Sensor/Switch (For Alarm): Description and Operation

The switch detects the open/close condition of the rear hatch. When the rear hatch is opened, an ON (ground) signal is sent to the ECU and, when it is closed, an OFF (HIGH) signal is sent to the ECU, for arming disarming or activating the system.
