Seat Belt Retractor Limit Switch: Description and Operation

RELEASE SWITCH (L.H., R.H.)
^ Located at the front of the rail guide.
^ This switch is for turning the shoulder belt drive motor on or off. It transmits an OFF signal to the control unit when the shoulder belt is completely unfastened. Once the OFF signal is received, the control unit shuts off the motor.
