Hood Sensor/Switch (For Alarm): Description and Operation

It detects the open/close condition of the hood.

When the hood is opened. this switch is ON. and a ground signal is sent to the ECU.

If the signal is input to the ECU when the system is in the armed condition, the ECU functions to activate the alarm.
