1. Drain coolant system down to thermostat level.
2. Remove thermostat housing bolts and housing.
3. Remove thermostat, discard gasket and clean both gasket sealing surfaces.
4. Reverse procedure to install. Dip new gasket in water and ensure to center thermostat in water box on gasket.
5. Disconnect coolant temperature sensor electrical connector, then remove sensor.

Note: Manufacturer recommends using a mixture of 50% antifreeze and 50% water.

6. Refill cooling system with sensor removed, until mixture reaches hole, then install and tighten sensor. Continue to fill until system is full.
