Fuel Pressure Pulsation Damper: Description and Operation

Fuel Pressure Dampener:

The fuel pressure dampener, located downstream from the fuel pressure regulator, damps fuel pressure pulsations at the injectors caused by the opening and closing of the injectors. The dampener is an internal rubber diaphragm with a pocket of air behind it.
