Technician Safety Information

WARNING: PARK BRAKE PEDAL ASSEMBLY SELF ADJUSTER MECHANISM MUST BE RELOADED AND LOCKED TO REMOVE TENSION FROM PARK BRAKE CABLES. THIS MUST BE DONE BEFORE REMOVE THE FRONT PARK BRAKE CABLE FROM THE PARK BRAKE CABLE EQUALIZER. FAILURE TO DO THIS WILL MAKE ASSEMBLY EXTREMELY DIFFICULT AND COULD LEAD TO SERIOUS INJURY.

NOTE: Remove the rear park brake cable from only one rear park brake lever at a time. Failure to do so will result in high eftorts required, to connect the park brake cables to equalizer or the park brake lever.

NOTE: Do not remove the second rear park brake cable from the equalizer. If second park brake cable is removed from the equalizer, high eftort will be required to connect the park brake cables to the equalizer.
