THIS BULLETIN SUPERSEDES TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN 23-11-98 DATED MARCH 13, 1998 WHICH SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM YOUR FILES. ALL REVISIONS ARE HIGHLIGHTED WITH **ASTERISKS** AND INCLUDES A VEHICLE PRODUCTION DATE AFTER WHICH THIS PROCEDURE IS NO LONGER NECESSARY.

**NOTE:
THIS BULLETIN APPLIES TO VEHICLES BUILT PRIOR TO MARCH 9, 1998 (MDH-0309XX).**
SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
Wavy roof sheet metal or dents in the approximate area of the structural headliner membrane (Figure 1).
DIAGNOSIS:
Inspect the roof sheet metal for dents in the area of the structural headliner membrane. The membrane looks like a piece of cardboard 21" x 25" glued to the inside of the roof sheet metal. If dents or waves are apparent perform the Repair Procedure.
