Water Pump: Description and Operation

Water Pump And Inlet Tube:

The water pump has a aluminum body with a steel impeller. A gasket is used to seal the pump to the cylinder block. The water pump inlet is located at the rear of the pump, a inlet tube located between the cylinder heads connects the water pump with the thermostat housing. The water pump is driven by the timing belt.

Note: The water pump can be replaced with out discharging the air conditioning system.
