Amplifier: Service and Repair

REMOVAL - MIDLINE AND INFINITY I SYSTEM

Negative Battery Cable Remote Terminal:

1. Open hood and disconnect the negative battery cable remote terminal from the remote battery post.
2. Remove right under panel silencer/duct. Refer to Instrument Panel and Systems for Replacement procedures.
3. Remove two retaining nuts to remote amplifier.

Midline / Infinity / Remote Amplifier Location:

4. Pull amplifier inboard and then pull downward to remove from upper retaining clips.
5. Disconnect two wiring connectors.
6. Remove remote amplifier from vehicle.

INSTALLATION
For installation, reverse the above procedures.

REMOVAL - INFINITY II SYSTEM
1. Open hood and disconnect the negative battery cable remote terminal from the remote battery post.

Infinity II Remote Amplifier Location:

2. Inside trunk, pull the trunk liner aside (right quarter panel passenger side).
3. Remove three retaining screws.
4. Disconnect two wire connectors.
5. Remove remote amplifier from vehicle.

INSTALLATION
For installation, reverse the above procedures.
