Fuel Pressure Release: Service and Repair

FUEL PUMP CONNECTOR DISCONNECTION (HOW TO REDUCE FUEL LINE PRESSURE)
When removing the fuel pipe, hose, etc., release fuel pressure to prevent fuel splay.
1. Remove the rear seat cushion.
2. Remove the protector to disconnect the fuel pump connector.
3. Start the engine and let it run until it stops naturally, turn the ignition switch to OFF.
4. Connect the fuel pump connector to install the protector.
5. Install the rear seat cushion.
