STANDARD PROCEDURE





All pistons are machined to the same weight in grams, to maintain piston balance.





Note: Pistons and cylinder bores should be measured at normal room temperature, 70 °F (21 °C).

The piston and cylinder walls must be clean and dry. Piston diameter should be measured 90° to piston pin axis. Cylinder bores should be measured halfway down the cylinder bore (2) and transverse to the engine crankshaft center line.
