Headliner - Removal

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.

2. Remove sun visors and vanity mirrors.

3. Remove sun visor center supports.

4. Remove assist handles attaching screws and remove the assist handles, if equipped.

5. Remove second row dome lamp and coat hook attaching screw and remove the dome lamp, if equipped.

6. Remove A-pillar trim. Refer to Trim Panel.

7. Remove B-pillar upper trim. Refer to Trim Panel.

8. Remove liftgate header trim. Refer to Trim Panel.

9. Remove D-pillar trim. Refer to Trim Panel.

10. Remove C-pillar upper trim, as necessary. Refer to Trim Panel.

11. Remove overhead console, if equipped.

12. Remove overhead DVD video screen, if equipped.

13. If sunroof equipped, pry headliner from trim lace using Trim Stick C-4755.

14. Removal of the trim lace is not necessary. Do not remove trim lace from sunroof module.





15. Disconnect wire harness connectors at the left A-pillar.





16. Disconnect wire harness connector and wire clips at the right A-pillar.

17. Disconnect rear view mirror wire connector from mirror.





18. Disengage push pins attaching headliner to roof panel.





19. Remove headliner from roof.

20. Remove headliner through liftgate opening.
