1492-02 REAR SPOILER UNABLE TO EXTEND





When Monitored and Set Condition

- When Monitored: Continuous.
- Set Condition: If the Body Control Module (BCM) is unable to deploy the spoiler, the DTC is set.

Diagnostic Test

1. VISUAL INSPECTION
Turn the ignition off.
Visually inspect the spoiler for any obstructions (ice, etc.).
Were any obstructions found?

No

- Replace the Body Control Module.Body Control Module - Removal.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test

Yes

- Repair the cause of the obstruction.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test
