Tie Rod End - Installation

INSTALLATION





1. Clean the tapered surfaces, and remove any grease or debris from the tie rod end.
2. Thread the tie rod end onto the drag link.
3. Install the tie rod end to the steering knuckle.
4. Install the attaching nut on the tie rod end. Tighten to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).
5. Thread the jam nut down far enough to hold the tie rod end in place. Do not tighten the jam nut.
6. Adjust the front toe setting on the vehicle. Service and Repair.
