15A Stored Airbag Trouble Codes

NOTE: Perform TEST 1A Before Proceeding 1A Identifying Airbag System Problems


1. Wiggle the wiring harness and connectors of the airbag system, and rotate the steering wheel from stop to stop. Check for trouble codes as you work through the system. Refer to system component location and connector pinouts.
2. If a stored trouble code becomes active, perform Test 1A. 1A Identifying Airbag System Problems
3. If a stored trouble code is reproducible:
- Repair or replace the wiring harness
- Repair or replace the harness connectors or terminals
- Replace the component as necessary
