Trunk / Liftgate Handle: Service and Repair

Liftgate Outside Handle:

1. Remove liftgate latch.
2. Disengage clip holding power lock linkage to outside handle, if equipped.
3. Separate linkage from outside handle.
4. Disengage Vehicle Theft Alarm (VTA) switch from back of lock cylinder, if equipped.
5. Remove nut holding outside liftgate handle to liftgate.
6. Disengage retaining groove holding handle to liftgate.
7. Separate outside liftgate handle from vehicle.
8. Reverse the preceding operation for installation.
