Key-In Ignition on Chime

CIRCUIT OPERATION
The key-in ignition chime is used to alert the operator that the key is in the ignition with the ignition OFF and the driver's door ajar.

Circuit G75 is used for the input to the BCM from the driver's door ajar switch. This switch is case grounded and normally OPEN with the door closed.

Circuit G26 is used for the key-in ignition switch. This switch is normally OPEN with the key removed from the ignition. When the key is in the ignition the switch completes a path to ground on circuit Z1.
