This code becomes active as soon as the malfunction is detected and stored after 1 minute of occurrence, or key-OFF, whichever is first.

WHEN MONITORED
Continuously with ignition ON.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Passenger side airbag module open
- Passenger airbag line 1 or line 2 open
- Loose or poor connection at connector terminals
- Faulty passenger airbag ON/OFF switch (if equipped)
- Faulty airbag control module
