Center Mounted Brake Lamp - Installation

INSTALLATION

SEDAN





1. Check to be certain that the two screw and retainer units (1) are properly installed and in good condition in the inner deck lid reinforcement.
2. Position the Center High Mounted Stop Lamp (CHMSL) (2) to the inside of the deck lid (5).
3. Install and tighten the two nuts (4) that secure the CHMSL to the two screw and retainer units in the inner deck lid reinforcement. Tighten the nuts securely.
4. Reconnect the body wire harness connector (3) to the connector receptacle integral to the back of the CHMSL housing.
5. Reconnect the battery negative cable.

1. Place the CHMSL on the spoiler (1) and install and tighten the mounting fasteners.
2. Install the spoiler .
