Water Pump - Installation

3.5L ENGINE










1. Clean all O-ring surfaces on front cover.
2. Position water pump and O-ring to engine.
3. Install mounting bolts (3). Tighten to 12 Nm (105 in. lbs.).
4. Install timing belt Timing Belt & Sprockets - Installation.
5. Install accessory drive belts Serpentine Accessory Drive Belt - Installation.
6. Evacuate air and fill cooling system. Water Pump - Coolant Air Evacuation
7. Check cooling system for leaks. Component Tests and General Diagnostics
