Rear Door Latch: Description and Operation

The Police Package rear door latch is integrated to the door's module/carrier plate. To remove/install the latch,Front Door Carrier Plate - Removal , Front Door Carrier Plate - Installation. For security reasons, the standard lock knob is not present and is replaced by a manual lock knob assembly that is located on the front panel near the wiring harness. In emergency situations, the lock knob can be accessed by opening the front door.
