Alternative Fuel Label Missing From Windshield
OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves installing the Alternative Fuel Label attached to the windshield.
MODELS:
2011 (LD) Charger (U.S. Market Only)
2011 (LX) 300 (U.S. Market Only)
NOTE:
This bulletin applies to un-sold 2011 LD and LX vehicles equipped with the 3.6 liter engine built to US specifications (sales code YAA) and Alternative Fuel (sales code XKN) built between December 13, 2010 (MDH1213XX) and January 16, 2011 (MDH1216XX).
SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
Alternative Fuel Label Missing From Windshield.
PARTS REQUIRED:
REPAIR PROCEDURE:
1. Open passenger side front door.
2. Using an alcohol wipe clean the inside of the front windshield glass at the lower right side where the label will be placed (Fig. 1).
3. Remove upper and lower adhesive strips from the back side of label 04722003AA and discard.
NOTE:
Place the label so the entire label is visible from the out side of the vehicle.
4. Apply label to the inside of the windshield lower right side next to the A-pillar as shown in (Fig. 1) by wiping the glue strips to the glass with a gloved finger or thumb.
