Tail Lamp Bulb Outage May Not Work

OVERVIEW:
This Bulletin involves reconfiguring the vehicle for tail lamp bulb outage detection.

MODELS:

2011 (LD) Charger

NOTE:
This bulletin applies to vehicles built between December 13, 2010 (MDH 1213XX) and January 7, 2011 (MDH 0107XX).

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
Some vehicles may need to be reconfigured to enable tail lamp bulb outage detection.

DIAGNOSIS:

NOTE:
Only those vehicles identified in the VIN list of the attached RRT should exhibit the symptom/condition.

If a customer's VIN is listed in VIP or your RRT VIN list, perform the repair. For all other customers that describe the symptom/condition, perform the Repair Procedure.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:

1. Using wiTECH, reconfigure the vehicle to enable tail lamp bulb outage detection. This routine is available under the 'Diagnostic Procedures' tab found on the home, 'Vehicle View', page of wiTECH.

2. Using wiTECH clear any DTCs that may have been set.
