Heated Seats - Description

DESCRIPTION





Vehicles with the heated seat option can be visually identified by the two heated seat switches (3) located in the instrument panel center bezel (2). The heated seat system allows the driver and front seat passenger to select from two different levels of heat (high and low). The heated seat system for this vehicle includes the following major components:

- Heated Seat Module (HSM) - The HSM controls the functions of the heated seats Heated Seat Module - Description.
- Heated Seat Pad Elements - Four heated seat pad elements. Two for each front seat. The heater pads are integral to the individual seat bottom and seat back cushions Heater Pad - Description.
- Heated Seat Switches - Two front heated seat switches. Each switch includes two Light-Emitting Diode (LED) indicator lamps for heat level indication Heated Seat Switch - Description.
- Cab Compartment Node (CCN) - The CCN is part of the instrument cluster and uses integrated software and information carried on the Controller Area Network (CAN) data bus. The CCN serves as the link between the heated seat switches and the heated seat module .
