Decklid Switch

DECK LID






NOTE: The deck lid release switch is serviced as a unit with the center tail lamp wire harness.

1. Working from the face of the center tail lamp, insert the wire harness through the deck lid release switch mounting hole in the center of the upper applique (1).
2. Align the deck lid release switch (2) with the mounting hole and, using hand pressure, push the switch firmly and evenly into the mounting hole until the four latch features (3) snap into place on the back side of the applique.
3. Reconnect the wire harness to the center tail lamp.
4. Reinstall the center tail lamp onto the deck lid. Tail Lamp - Installation.
5. Reconnect the battery negative cable.
