Decklid Switch

DECK LID






NOTE: The deck lid release switch is serviced as a unit with the center tail lamp wire harness.

1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Remove the center tail lamp from the deck lid. Tail Lamp - Removal.
3. Disconnect the center tail lamp wire harness from the back of the lamp housing.
4. Working from the back of the center tail lamp, release the four latch tabs (3) that secure the deck lid release switch (2) in the mounting hole in the center of the upper applique (1) and push the switch out through the face of the applique.
5. Remove the deck lid release switch and wire harness from the center tail lamp as a unit.
