Center Mounted Brake Lamp - Installation

INSTALLATION





1. Position the Center High Mounted Stop Lamp (CHMSL) (3) between the headliner and the inner rear roof header (1).
2. Engage the stepped tabs that secure the front of the CHMSL housing with the holes in the inner rear roof header.
3. Push upward on the rear edge of the CHMSL housing to engage the snap clips that secure it to the inner rear roof header.
4. Carefully pull down the rear of the headliner far enough to access and reconnect the overhead wire harness connector (2) to the CHMSL connector receptacle.
5. Push upward on the CHMSL cover that is secured to the center rear of the headliner far enough to engage the snap clips that secure it to the inner rear roof header.
6. Reconnect the battery negative cable.
