Installation

INSTALLATION





1.
Position the fuel filler tube into the vehicle.

2.
Insert the fuel filler tube rubber hose into the fuel tank filler neck.





3.
Slide the fuel filler tube hose clamp into position and tighten.





4.
Install the fuel filler tube retaining nut (2) and tighten to 12 Nm (9 ft. lbs.).

5.
Connect the fuel filler tube ORVR vent line (3) at the filler tube(4).





6.
Position the rear wheelhouse splash shield (2) to the body and install the push-pins (1).

7.
Install the left rear tire.

8.
Partially lower the vehicle.





9.
Align the fuel filler tube to the fuel filler housing rubber seal.
10.
Firmly press the fuel filler housing into the fender till housing locks into place.




11.
Check the fuel filler tube housing for flushness to fender.
12.
Install the fuel cap.




13.
Connect the negative battery cable (1).
14.
Fill the fuel tank and check for leaks.
