Left Axle Seal

LEFT AXLE SEAL

NOTE: Inboard (Left) axle seal replacement requires removal and disassembly of the axle assembly.





1. Remove front axle assembly.Removal
2. Drain axle lubricant by turning housing on its side and draining out of left output bore.
3. Remove differential cover (5)(Figure 1) and differential (3). Remove and discard o-ring seal.
4. Using Remover and Slide Hammer , remove left axle seal.
