Vacuum Brake Booster: Service and Repair

Fig. 1 Replacing Power Brake Unit:

Remove power brake unit in numbered sequence, noting the following:
1. Check valve is integral with vacuum line. If valve is defective, replace as an assembly.
2. When installing vacuum hose fitting, apply semi-drying sealant to threaded portion.
3. Reverse procedure to install.
